With a style reminiscent of pulp fiction covers, Anselmo Ballester’s movie posters of the ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s used bold colors, typically depicted just one or two major characters and, like the best advertisements for the cinema, were infused with intrigue, conflict and passion. Here are a dozen works—uncomplicated, yet full of detail—from one of the masters of Italian one sheets.
Nozze di sangue (1941)
The Lady from Shanghai (1947)
Bethsabée (1947)
Spellbound (1945)
Salome (1953)
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939)
Menchen, Tiere, Sensationen (1938)
Affair in Trinidad (1952)
Rough, Tough and Ready (1945)
Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers (1956)
On the Waterfront (1954)

Those are really nice movies from the 40's to the 60's and hope I can get a copy of those movies.
